A traditional, twin coil, humbucker pickup. Available with white or black covers.
Our humbucker pickups are sourced from a variety of places, to maintain the best price we can. Typically they come from Warman Guitars in the UK, who have a long pedigree of producing fantastic sounding pickups at an incredible price point.
As such, things like number of wraps, magnet type, impedence etc. may vary from pickup to pickup – but that’s the fun of CBGs!
We do however guarantee the colour of the pickup cover…
Humbucking pickups are noise-cancelling. As long as your electrics are properly grounded, humbuckers will eliminate the the hum associated with single coils.
Humbuckers typically sound “darker” than single coils. They are most often used with 500k potentiometers and a .022µf capacitor on the tone pot.
