Description
This single coil pickup template is laser cut from 5mm thick, crystal clear acrylic. Perfect for marking up a single coil pickup slot whilst still being able to see your underlying workpiece.
Especially useful for cigar boxes, where you need to see where the slot is going to sit in relation to any existing design on the box.
The template includes holes that coincide with the attachment screw centres. Simply pop your bradawl through the holes to mark where to drill for the pickup attachment screws.
Includes outer template and template insert, both engraved with centre lines for easy lining up.
Please note, this template is for creating a slot for the bare pickup. It doesn’t include the fixing points for a pickup cover and it is not suitable as a router template for creating the cavity in a solid body guitar. This template is for marking out and/or routing the slot for a bare pickup in the top of a hollow body, such as a cigar box.
